Reality Check

2020 Hanoverian x TB mare

15.3/16h and growing

Reya is a really lovely mare, and I think a super prospect. I’ve had her since she was a yearling, and started her myself. In a lot of ways she has been very very easy. She has never had a problem loading/tacking/standing, etc. She loves being groomed and will stand for it all day. She comes to the gate anytime you walk outside, and just in general is a huge puppy dog on the ground. She loves loves loves people and has good ground manners.

She is started WTC and figuring out contact, as well as lightly started over jumps. She’s been off property, hacked out in a neighborhood full of barking dogs, and been xc schooling. You could not spook her if you tried, and I’ve tried. She turns out well in a mixed herd, is an easy keeper, barefoot, and quite the looker undersaddle to top it off. She’s a pretty flashy mover, and I think she would really turn heads in the hunter ring.

Samwise the Brave

2020 BLM mustang

13.1/13.2

The cutest, best brained little haflinger look-alike around! Samwise has truly been one of our favorite horses to develop. He’s smart, curious, sporty, and super forgiving. I really value his brain as his best quality, but if you need to be further convinced, he has some super fancy movement and a really cute jump to go with it 😉 Kick ride, no nasty vices or habits. If I had a good riding, brave kid who wasn’t quite ready for a horse yet, this is the pony I’d want them on. I think he’d kill it as an eventer, and he really loves xc schooling, but he could go any direction.

He went to his first show recently to do a couple .65 rounds, and wow he just took it all in and said “okay, this is my job now”, and generally acted like an overgrown lap dog the entire day. Totally unphased by the atmosphere and acted like he had been doing it his whole life.
